I’ve been asked to run porcelain classes for a while… and here they are!

I am thrilled to be offering hands on, creative porcelain classes where you will learn a range of clay techniques using porcelain. Bring your ideas to life with pieces to take home and treasure.

The classes are in a beautiful, brand new pottery studio, in the heart of Portslade. Easy to get to on the bus and by train.

Introduction to hand building:

6 weeks
Wednesday mornings 10am - 12pm
8th January - 12th February

You will learn the basics of hand building including, coil, slab and press moulding. You will learn various techniques for decorating your work, including making and using your own sprig mould. Your work will be fired and you will have the opportunity to glaze it yourself to take home.

All materials and firings are included.

The course is perfect if you have never worked with porcelain before but is also suitable if you have some experience. Bring your ideas and lets get making
