My latest Sea Lamp about the beach where I live work and swim. Made from my sea side studio where sandy walks, swims and all of the colours of the ocean are blown into my space and my work. A calming lamp that evokes the Sussex coast.
I make all of my Sea Lamps to a ‘map’ of the specific colours and techniques built up in layers. Whilst following this map I can let my creativity flow, so each lamp is from the same family but also completely unique.
First exhibited at London Craft Week in the atmospheric walls of the OXO Tower Bargehouse, Shorehm Sea Lights have come home and are now made to order for your project. Please get in touch if you need any more information and tell me about your lights!
The natural variation of porcelain ceramic gives an organic glow of light through the surface and describes the clay texture and hand crafted process. Variations in size and shape are a celebrated part of the handmade process.
This porcelain shade is made to order in two sizes:
Wave lamp II is H 13cm x W13cm
Wave lamp III is H 19cm x W19cm
Suitable for SES light fitting and diffused golf ball E14 bulb.
Tala Sphere I bulb is recommended, compatible with most dimmers.
Cord assembly with ceiling roses and wall hooks can be purchased separately.
